Incite Foundation Residency
The Centre[3] Incite Foundation Residency is a 12-week self-directed residency for artists working across multiple disciplines. This residency offers artists dedicated studio time, space and technical support to work in facilities for traditional printmaking, including lithography, silkscreen, and intaglio, as well as digital media production, and culminates with an exhibition in Centre[3]’s Main Gallery.
This residency is generously supported by the Incite Foundation for the Arts and the Ontario Arts Council.

Emerging Artist Residency
The Centre[3] Emerging Artist Residency is a 12-week self-directed residency for artists with less than 5 years of exhibition history. This residency offers artists dedicated studio time, space and technical support to work in facilities for traditional printmaking – including lithography, silkscreen, and intaglio – as well as digital media production, and culminates with an exhibition in one of Centre[3]’s galleries.
The residency includes:
- $200 Honorarium
- Free membership for one year ($50 value)
- Access to the printmaking or digital studios for up to 12 weeks, during studio hours ($375 value)
- Five hours of free tech assistance
- 10 sheets Fabriano paper ($100 value) OR 5 feet of digital paper ($200 value)
- Group exhibition in one of Centre[3]’s galleries

Hamilton-Based Residency
The Centre[3] Hamilton-Based Residency is a twelve-week self-directed residency for an artist in any stage of their career who is living and working in the Hamilton region. This residency offers artists dedicated studio time, space and technical support to work in facilities for traditional printmaking – including lithography, silkscreen, and intaglio – as well as digital media production, and culminates with an exhibition in one of Centre[3]’s galleries.
The residency includes:
- $200 Honorarium
- Free membership for one year ($50 value)
- Access to the printmaking or digital studios for up to 12 weeks, during studio hours ($375 value)
- Five hours of free tech assistance

Centre[3] x Martha Street Studio Residency Exchange
Centre[3] hosts an annual residency exchange program with Martha Street Studio in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Every year, Centre[3] sends one artist member to Martha Street Studio for a two-week residency. In return we welcome an artist member from Martha Street Studio for a two-week residency at Centre[3].
The residency includes:
- Free access to MSS for two weeks
- Free membership to MSS for one year
- Free technical support for up to 3 hours
- $600 artist fee
- $400 per diem
- $200 materials fee
