Centre  for print and media arts exhibits a wide range of works that fosters the growth of artists and provides an arena for contemporary print and media arts. We are accepting proposals for exhibitions during 2017 and 2018. Centre  strives to challenge traditional notions of printmaking and photo based work while fostering the integration of media arts into more common practices. Print and photo based works can be traditional or experimental. Media Arts applications can encompass any variation of the following: new arts, sound works, projections, or installations.
Applications are accepted from both independent artists as well as curators from across Canada.
Artists must have completed their professional training and have a minimum of three years of previous exhibition experience.
Curators must have executed previous exhibitions and have sustained curatorial practices for a number of years.
CARFAC fees are paid for selected exhibitions.
Pleas include the following in your electronic submission:
1. Project proposal. (One page)
2. C.V. (Three pages max.)
3. Artist Statement. (One page)
4. 15 images max. (jpeg, 1MB) and/or 10min mov or mp4.
5. Corresponding image list with title, medium/description, and date.
