Learn how to silkscreen print your very own single sheet, 8-page zine! In this two session workshop, participants will create an 8-page zine and learn how to reproduce their zines via screen printing. All levels of experience with screen printing and zine making are welcome.
Eli Nolet is a queer artist residing in Hamilton, Ontario. They are currently attending McMaster Universities Fine Art program.
IMPORTANT: Fees must be paid in full upon registration. Centre reserves the right to cancel courses 2 business days before the start date. Courses cancelled by Centre will be refunded in full. Participants who withdraw 10 or more business days prior to first class will be issued a credit for the full amount of their registration. We are unable to provide refund/credit for withdrawal fewer than 10 business days prior to first class. No make-up classes/substitutions provided.
Many of our workshops and courses make use of upper & lower levels of the facility and may involve small amounts of physical labour depending on the processes involved. ACCESSIBILITY: Centre is partially physically accessible. We have a level entrance leading to our shop, information desk, galleries, washroom and traditional print studio. Unfortunately, we do not have automatic doors or an elevator. Our silkscreen studios and digital lab are only accessible by stairs. We are working toward becoming a physically accessible space in the future.
