If you are a settlement worker or new Canadian interested in exploring your stories of settlement and migration through art, this is for you!

Led by a team of multi-generational and intersectional black, indigenous, women of colour artists and healers who are leaders in their field for storytelling, healing and community building. In each workshop, we will produce a piece of work to contribute to a cumulative public art exhibition.

This free course is for settlement workers and new Canadians who want to share creative reflections on migration and settlement work and lived stories. Counselling support is available. Commitment to all or most of the sessions is preferred for group cohesion.

Program includes the following themes:

• Mapping our journeys
• Healing through percussion and vibration • Collective mandala making
• Dialogue through creativity and colour
• Exploring stories through collage
• Open studio
