Sitelines

sitelines drawing !

Sitelines is a community arts project by Centre[3] in collaboration with the Mental Health Rights Coalition, which offers free arts-based workshops to adults with lived experience of mental health and addiction.

We are sad to announce that Sitelines will be coming to an end with the end of this year.

Even before the pandemic hit, the Sitelines community has been a creative and supportive one, and the transition to online programming only helped us grow and connect with more people. Through these uncertain times, our workshops have brought folks together virtually to learn and create and have fun.

It’s been a privilege to connect with so many people in creative ways over the last few years. This may not be the end of Sitelines forever!

Sitelines has been generously funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Perpetual Prompts: Generative Creative Writing Workshop

Thursday December 17

Time: 2-4 P.M

This workshop is for writers of all levels! There isn’t an expectation of understanding technique, or a background of material you have to be familiar with. This workshop is for everyone who is full of ideas and thoughts and is in need of a push, a deadline, a prompt, an environment. There will be timed segments where you will be provided with a prompt (audio, visual, tactile, kinetic), invited to write on the prompt, and then share aloud (participation is encouraged, though optional, of course). We will run in cycles of prompt, writing, sharing until the end of the allotted time.
