Claudia Perrone is an Italian artist who studied in Florence, Italy. Her work explores that which happens between awareness and fate, between a mistake and a discovery. Her work is focused in monotype as it is a continuous work in progress, just like life. Making mistakes, learning from them and making better ones next time is how Claudia’s artwork comes to life and evolves.

Laine Groeneweg is an artist/ printmaker living and working in Hamilton, Ontario. He is most well known for his work in mezzotint and etching. Laine received his BFA from York University in 2004 and subsequently trained as a professional printmaker at Fondazione ll Bisonte Per Lo Studio Dell’Arte Grafica in Florence, Italy. His prints have been exhibited Nationally and Internationally including Australia, Russia, Taiwan, and Europe.

Karen Bergsteinsson grew up in a waterfront home on Lake of the Woods in Northern Ontario. Being surrounded by water as a child is what inspires her as an artist to engage the viewer in such universal themes as the conflict between power and powerlessness, surface and hidden depth, chaos and control. For Karen, both water and the creative process represent the constant possibility of transformation and regeneration. Karen has had solo exhibitions at Centre3 for Print and Media Arts as well as group exhibitions in Hamilton, Toronto and Montreal.
