CENTRE[3] STUDIO PROTOCOLS

Updated January 20, 2022

In order to create the safest environment possible for both our community and staff, we have implemented a number of changes to the operation of our facilities. These changes are made to ensure a safe workspace for our membership.

At this time, Members of Centre[3] who have completed their orientation and have been given the green light to use the space alone and without support from a technician have been granted access, by appointment only. In person workshops, and one-on-one technician bookings are not available at this moment. We understand the limitations this particular safety measure creates for newer printmakers. To inquire about using space as a new Member, please email studio@centre3.com.

The current protocols are as follows:

  • Studio use is available by appointment only.
  • The printmaking studios are open Monday – Friday, 10AM – 5PM.
    • After Dark studio hours are available on Wednesdays from 5PM – 9PM.

  • Studio time can be scheduled through our online booking system here, by e-mailing info@centre3.com or calling (905) 524-5084.
  • Studio bookings can be made up to 8 weeks in advance.

  • In order to maintain social distancing, we have limited the number of Members allowed in each studio area:

        • Traditional studio: capacity is limited to 3 persons

        • Screen studio: capacity is limited to 2 persons in the textile area; and 2 persons in the paper area.

  • We are not permitting walk-ins at this time. This includes the use of all-access keys without a previous appointment made.

  • Masks must be worn at all times while in the building.

  • We ask that all members sanitize/wash hands frequently while in the studios, and clean workstations and equipment after use.

  • Social distancing is mandatory throughout Centre[3] facilities.

  • Absolutely no eating or food sharing is permitted in the studios.

  • Members are responsible for providing their own respirators. Use of the etching room and screen washout room without a respirator will be done so at your own risk. It is highly advised that you come prepared with your own respirator.

  • Washrooms will be fully disinfected after each use.

  • If you are feeling unwell or exhibiting any symptoms, please stay home.

Centre[3] reserves the right to revoke access to members who do not abide by these safety measures.
