Here's what the class is all about...
CMYK, or four-colour process printing, will be used to convert photographic images into full-colour screen prints. Participants will learn basic techniques to create a photo-based screen print using cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks, and to create halftone colour separations using image editing software. The course will also familiarize students with the proper use and care of screens, registration methods, different types of paper, the process of edition in, and relevant health and safety issues.
IMPORTANT: Fees must be paid in full upon registration. Centre reserves the right to cancel courses 3 business days before the start date. Courses cancelled by Centre will be refunded in full. Participants who withdraw 10 or more business days prior to first class will be issued a credit for the full amount of their registration. We are unable to provide refund/credit for withdrawal fewer than 10 business days prior to first class. No make-up classes/substitutions provided.
Many of our workshops and courses make use of upper & lower levels of the facility and may involve small amounts of physical labour depending on the processes involved.
