Artists Michèle Pearson Clarke and Erika DeFreitas maintain independent art practices yet both explore shared themes of mourning, loss, and the textures of language in their work. Their two-person exhibition at Centre[3] for Print and Media Arts showcases work in video, photography and textiles, and highlights each respective artist’s unique approach to navigating the fraught processes of bereavement and rituals of lamentation.
