Screenprinting
Screen printing (traditionally called silkscreen printing; also known as serigraphy and serigraph printing) is a printing technique where a mesh is used to transfer ink (or dye) onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. A blade or squeegee is moved across the screen to fill the open mesh apertures with ink, and a reverse stroke then causes the screen to touch the substrate momentarily along a line of contact. This causes the ink to wet the substrate and be pulled out of the mesh apertures as the screen springs back after the blade has passed. One colour is printed at a time, so several screens can be used to produce a multi-coloured image or design.

Lithography
Lithography is an “offset” printing technique — ink is not applied directly from the printing plate to the as it is in screenprint and letterpress. Ink is applied to the printing plate to form the image (e.g. text or artwork to be printed) and then transferred to a rubber blanket. The image on the blanket is then transferred to the substrate (typically paper or paperboard) to produce the printed product.

Intaglio & Relief
Intaglio is a family of printmaking techniques in which the image is etched into a surface and the incised line or sunken area holds the ink. Intaglio printing is the opposite of relief printing, in that the printing is done from ink that is below the surface of the place. The design is cut, scratched, or etched into the printing surface of plate, which can be copper, zinc, alumnum, magnesium, plastics, or even coated paper.
The printing ink is rubbed into the incisions or grooves, and the surface is wiped clean. Intaglio printing embosses the paper into the incised lines to create the final printed product.

Letterpress
Also called relief printing, or typographic printing — letterpress printing is a process by which many copies of an image are producyed by repeated direct impression of an inked, raised surface against sheets or a continuous roll of paper. Ink is applied to the raised surface and then paper is pressed directly against it to transfer the text/image.
