Design imaginative wall-mounted sculptures that are expressive, unique and ready to display. Guided by sculptor Evelyn Sorochan-Ruland, you'll explore colour, form, texture and three-dimensional composition — learning hands-on techniques using chicken wire and a variety of recycled and craft materials to create a lasting work of art.

This 8-week course offers an immersive, hands-on introduction to the versatile world of printmaking, designed specifically for beginners. Participants will explore the unique graphic qualities of four print processes: relief, monotypes, drypoint and screen printing. Through a mix of demonstrations and studio practice, you will learn to translate your drawings and ideas into unique and beautiful prints.

Are you looking for a hands-on way to develop your art practice? Join Julio Ferrer to create a two-colour screen print. Using traditional drawing tools (brush and ink), participants will learn to create an image for a two-colour serigraph. Receive instruction in screen coating and exposure, manual colour separation, material handling, and printing a small edition run (3 to 5 prints). Screen reclaiming and discussion of artwork will be included as well.
