WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Learn the basics of screen printing, or polish up your skills, with Screen Printing with Tote Bags! Print your very own design on a tote, and bring it home! This workshop will provide you with the fundamental skills of preparing and hand-printing with silkscreens in a professional studio. You provide your design, and we provide the tote, materials, and know-how of textile screen printing!
Please bring your design on a USB drive on the day of the workshop. Extra tote bags will also be available for purchase in the studio.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Luther Griggs is a screen printer, artist, and musician, born and raised in Hamilton ON. His work is primarily based in graphic design, collage, and textile screen printing. He continues to hone his skills as a screen printer, working as a studio technician at Centre 3 for Artistic + Social Practice.
Accessibility
Our Harriet street location is partially physically accessible. We have a level entrance leading to our shop, information desk, galleries, washroom and traditional print studio. Unfortunately, we do not have automatic doors or an elevator. We are working toward becoming a physically accessible space in the future.
