Monotype is a painterly printing process where the artist hand paints their plate to produce unique and spontaneous one-off prints. In this workshop participants will be introduced to basic methods and different applications they can use to approach making these experimental prints. This workshop is an easy introduction to printmaking for people interested in print (especially anybody with any experience in painting) but intimidated by the long technical steps often involved in traditional printing processes. All materials provided.

Centre is partially physically accessible. We have a level entrance leading to our shop, information desk, galleries, washroom and traditional print studio. Unfortunately, we do not have automatic doors or an elevator. Our silkscreen studios and digital lab are only accessible by stairs. We are working toward becoming a physically accessible space in the future.
