WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
Learn and develop tapestry techniques such as warping the loom, developing tassels, and incorporating unique materials into your piece. During this 3-hour course, participants will create a small woven textile piece to take home. Suitable for beginners and more experienced textile artists. All tools and materials will be provided.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Emma Enright is a textile artist and designer from Dundas, Ontario. Her current series of work investigates the materiality of textiles with a specific emphasis on weaving. Emma has received her Bachelor of Design, with a major in textiles from Ontario College of Art and Design University and continues to exhibit her work. Emma was the 2022 Centre[3] Emerging artist-in-residence.
Accessibility
Our Harriet street location is partially physically accessible. We have a level entrance leading to our shop, information desk, galleries, washroom and traditional print studio. Unfortunately, we do not have automatic doors or an elevator. We are working toward becoming a physically accessible space in the future.
