Two-Colour Screen Printing

Instructed by Julio Ferrer

Are you looking for a hands-on way to develop your art practice? Join Julio Ferrer to create a two-colour screen print. Using traditional drawing tools (brush and ink), participants will learn to create an image for a two-colour serigraph. Receive instruction in screen coating and exposure, manual colour separation, material handling, and printing a small edition run (3 to 5 prints). Screen reclaiming and discussion of artwork will be included as well.

Multiple dates, choose from: Tuesdays, March 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th, 2026

Time: 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm

Cost: $350.00 (Centre[3] members receive a 15% discount)

Class Size: Limited to 8 participants

Location: 173 James St N, Hamilton – Centre[3] for Artistic and Social Practice, Screen Printing Studio (please note, this studio is downstairs and non-accessible).

Materials: All materials are provided, except for paper. Recommendations for purchasing paper can be discussed.

Skill Level: All levels welcome.
