Mary Kroetsch

February 3 - March 1, 2017

Opening Reception: Friday, February 10 – 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Flowers are the reproductive structures produced by plants basically made up of four concentric rings. Through abstraction, Kroetsch explores the beautiful intricacies of the central core of a flower, breaking down each of the four rings, the sepal (the calyx), the petals (corolla), stamens (the male reproductive structures) and the center of the flower, which contains the female reproductive organs.
