4 Week Painterly Monotype Course

Fun and immediate! Monotypes are often called ‘painterly prints’. In this class, you’ll learn to produce vibrant one-of-a-kind prints. The beauty of this medium is in its spontaneity and its combination of printmaking, painting, drawing and stencil mediums to make unique prints.

Dates: Tuesdays February 17th, 24th, March 3rd and 10th, 2026

Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Cost: $320.00 (Centre[3] members receive a 15% discount)

Class Size: Limited to 8 participants

Location: 173 James St N, Hamilton – Centre[3] for Artistic and Social Practice, Traditional Printmaking Studio (main floor)

Materials: Bring 8″ x 10″ image references. All other materials are provided. Participants are welcome (but not required) to bring their own brushes and oil based paints.

Skill Level: All levels welcome.
