Participants will learn the fundamental steps involved in creating lithographic prints, from drawing on lithography plates to etching and printing. Are you looking for a hands-on way to develop your art practice? Join Julio Ferrer to create a two-colour screen print. Using traditional drawing tools (brush and ink), participants will learn to create an image for a two-colour serigraph. Receive instruction in screen coating and exposure, manual colour separation, material handling, and printing a small edition run (3 to 5 prints). Screen reclaiming and discussion of artwork will be included as well.

Fun and immediate! Monotypes are often called ‘painterly prints’. In this class, you’ll learn to produce vibrant one-of-a-kind prints. The beauty of this medium is in its spontaneity and its combination of printmaking, painting, drawing and stencil mediums to make unique prints.
